PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Lehigh Valley Phantoms made their first visit to Providence on Sunday. Both teams were on the last game of a 3-game in 3 nights weekend, and the game started sluggish. The Phantoms Jon-Randall Avon struck first, and the Bruins Vincent Arseneau netted the equalizer, and the first period ended 1-1. The teams came out in the second period with more energy, and the Bruins Alec Regula would have the only score. The Phantoms Elliot Desnoyers tied the game early in the third on a nice breakaway goal. The Bruins Justin Brazeau would score the game-winner at the period’s midway point. Lehigh pulled their goalie with about two minutes left in the period, but the Bruins, backstopped by goalie Brandon Bussi, held on for the win.
