Look Ahead: Happy Holidays Penguins!

This past week, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins went on a 3-game winning streak to head into the Canadian road trip. The Penguins play two games on Thursday December 21st and Friday December 22nd against the Belleville Senators and Laval Rocket.

Look Ahead:

Belleville Senators- December 21st

The last time these two teams met, in early November, Belleville took the win over the Penguins. This time, the Penguins are looking to take a win back home for the holidays. It is important to note that the Senators are on a three game losing streak, but they also have picked up points in three of their last four games. Belleville is currently sitting in fifth place in the North Division with a record of 10-10-2-2. They are currently 28th in the league on their power play and 22nd on their penalty kill.

Laval Rocket- December 22nd

This is the first time that the Rocket and the Penguins are meeting this season, and the last game for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton before the holiday break occurs. Laval and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will meet again on February 17th, 2024 in the Penguins barn. The Rocket are currently sitting in last place in the North Division with a record of 7-13-3-2. They are 24th in the AHL for their power play and 26th in the league for their penalty kill.
