CHARLOTTE, Nc – The Charlotte Checkers welcomed the Cleveland Monsters to town on Wednesday for some pre Thanksgiving hockey. After a scoreless 1st period the Monsters got a two goal lead in the 2nd. The two teams battled back and forth making for an exciting game but in the end the Monsters took the win with a final score of 5-2.
