Providence, R.I. – The Providence Bruins fell to the Hershey Bears 2-1 in the second of their two game weekend set on Sunday. Hershey took Friday nights matchup by the same score. The Bruins Vinni Lettieri opened the scoring in the first period with a wrist shot that beat Bears goalie Hunter Shepard upper left corner. The Bears Ivan Miroshnichenko tied the game late in the second sliding in a rebound around Bruins goalie Brandon Bussi in the crease. Hershey’s Ethan Frank got the go ahead goal 20 seconds into the third period when he collected a deflected puck at the blue line and fired a quick snap shot that found it’s way in under the goalies pads. It was the third game in 3 nights and third win of the weekend road trip for the Bears.
